Architecture  —  05

Buildings, rendered from architectural drawings.

Architectural renders: the building seen from outside, in its setting, at the hour that shows it best. Developers use them to sell before a foundation is poured, architects to present, planning committees to decide. For interiors and products in a space, see Interior Visualisation.

How it works

The process, step by step.

01

Brief

What the images are for, and who will look at them. A sales render and a decision render are not the same picture.

02

Drawings & references

Plans, elevations or a model, plus reference images for the mood you want.

03

Materials

We agree the finishes before modelling, because changing them later costs time.

04

Camera views

We propose the views and you confirm them from a rough draft, not from a finished image.

05

Draft render

Low-resolution passes for composition and light. Changes are cheap here.

06

Final delivery

Full-resolution images, plus one round of minor revisions.
